Ever since the first lonely Jew ordered Chinese take-out on Christmas, there has been an
undeniable bond between Jews and Asians. This Christmas Eve, we want to wipe away those lonely tears and celebrate our combined heritage at
Woks and Lox, the very first Jewish and Asian Christmas.
Saturday, December 24th, at the
Queens Kickshaw in Astoria, Queens, Woks and Lox is throwing a dinner and nosh party prepared by our spectacular Chinese chef Chichi Wang. But it doesn’t stop at food - while we kick it at the Kickshaw, we’ll have a Chinese auction, ladies playing
Mah Jong, a Bar Mitzvah-esque sign-in board, and lots more Jewish and Asian-inspired fun while throwing down some He’Brew and Fresh Ginger Ale by Bruce Cost.
